Online Ordering Instructions
The following step-by-step tutorial is designed to help you place online electronic orders using WCP's web site (www.westcentralproduce.com). Please follow each step and the illustrations, as shown. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your WCP sales associate or call our order desk at (213) 629-3600, and we will do what is necessary to make you comfortable with the system.
Step 1. Open your browser and type in the following web link:
http://www.westcentralproduce.com

Then press "Enter" on your keyboard.
Next, you'll see the West Central Produce, Inc. "Home Page".

Finding the Order Page
Step 2. Click on the button on the left hand side "menu," or click directly on the green Place Orders hyperlink in the text portion of the "Home Page."

Clicking on either of these two areas will bring you to WCP's "Place Orders" page.

Step 3. Click on the button on the page "bottom menu bar," or click directly on the green Wholesale Orders hyperlink in the text portion of the "Place Orders" page.

This will take you to the "Wholesale Orders" page.

Step 4. Here, you will be prompted as follows:
You will be asked to enter your WCP customer identification (Customer ID), which is the account number listed on your statement and invoices. Then you'll tell us your password. If you don't yet have a password, please contact your sales associate. Simply tell them your desired password, and they'll create it in our system for you.

When you're ready to proceed, press the Log On button.

Ordering Guidelines
Step 5. The next screen will prompt you on some ordering guidelines.
Please note that all electronic ordering should be completed before 10:00 P.M., as your order must be placed prior to when our dispatcher creates the next day's delivery routes.
You WILL NOT be able to cancel or alter your order once you have "submitted" it on the system. If you need to make any changes or cancellations, please call our 24-hour order desk to make adjustments to your electronic order.
For your convenience, there is a WCP logo or icon located in the center of this screen. Please drag this icon from WCP's web page to your computer desktop for easy access to the online ordering system. Next time you wish to place an order, simply click this icon , and you'll be directed to the "Wholesale Orders" Log On Page.

Logging In
You will be asked to enter your WCP customer identification (Customer ID) , which is the account number listed on your statement and invoices. Then you'll tell us your password. If you don't yet have a password, please contact your sales associate. Simply tell them your desired password, and they'll create it in our system for you.

Inside the Ordering System
Step 6. You will be directed to click the, "Place an Order" or "Order Status" Button at the top of the screen.
If you've already placed an order, or if you'd like to check on the status of an order, you'll be informed what exactly has happened to your order on this cue.
Step 7. Click on the button.
You next screen asks when you'd like to have your ordered delivered. The date appears as the next day's day/date; however, select any future date you wish.

Please Note: Click on the "Entire Catalog" radio button to find items not on your profile. To find an item, please type at least 3 letters of the item you are looking for.

The search engine for this is "intelligent", and will find all items that sound like or mimic what you have entered. You will arrive at the catalogue section where your item is located. You may then place an order.
If you need other commodities from the general catalogue screen, simply repeat your searching until you are finished. By the way, you will also be given the choice of whether you would like to have an item added to your profile or deleted from it.
Prompting this option will not change your profile; it will merely send your sales associate an electronic message to have it changed. Once you have finished, you may click on "Return to Profile" or press Alt-R on your keyboard, and you will return to your profile. In this instance you will see the miscellaneous items that you have selected added and displayed at the top of the profile. When you have completed all of your ordering, please click on the "Submit" button or press Alt-S on your keyboard.

Checking Out
Step 9. You are now ready to check out.
At this point, you can view your order without seeing all the items on your profile. You may also make any comments to modify or qualify the item being ordered. You are able to change the quantity that you had previously ordered or delete it, or the entire order, altogether.

Completing the Order
Step 10. Complete your order.
Enter your purchase order or other reference to readily identify this order to us and to your company. This is highly recommended. Additionally, please enter your email address so that we can notify you that your order has been successfully submitted.
Make any comments related to your order. General comments will be relayed to your sales associate's e-mail box: Picking and routing instructions will be sent to our staff to honor any instructions you have about actual order delivery and make-up; Invoicing instructions will be printed at the bottom of your invoice to indicate where it is to be directed within your organization.

Please note: Once you have approved the order, it can no longer be cancelled or changed. Please notify the WCP's order desk of any changes or cancellations.

Reviewing and Printing
Step 11. Review and Print your Order
Your next screen will display your submitted order. You will also be able to print a "browser friendly" copy of this order for your own control purposes.
You will receive an e-mail acknowledging that your order is to be delivered as ordered and scheduled.
Please Note: To place multiple orders, please click on the
button. To leave the electronic order system,
click , and you'll be returned to the WCP web site.

If you have any questions, please see your sales associate or call our order desk, and we will do what is necessary to make you comfortable with the system.
